Colour at night changes everything
Infrared footage is useful. Colour footage is a completely different experience — you can tell a hedgehog from a rat instantly, spot the fox with the distinctive white tail tip, actually recognise the cat that keeps raiding the feeder.
The WildView 3 carries both a white LED and high-quality infrared LEDs. Tap in the app to switch. Use infrared when you don't want to disturb anything, colour when you want to see it properly.
Small enough to put anywhere
Regular trail cameras are the size of a lunchbox and designed to watch a woodland ride 40ft away. The WildView 3 is small, discreet, and built for close work — 5 to 20ft from the action, with a wide 89.9° × 79.8° lens and a minimum focus of around 30cm.

Power on your terms
Inside is a replaceable 5200mAh lithium pack — up to three months of video-mode use per charge. Recharge over USB-C without dismounting anything, or add the Vantage Solar Panel and stop thinking about it altogether.
Build a network, not just a camera
Add as many WildView and BirdView cameras as you like to one app. Name them — 'Bird feeder', 'Hedgehog house', 'Side gate' — and you can see at a glance where the activity is, or use multi-view to watch everything at once.

Frequently asked questions
Does it need to reach my home WiFi?
Yes. The WildView 3 joins your home network, which is what lets you get alerts and watch live from indoors. Realistically that means within about 7-10m of your router, though a strong router or a mesh extender will push that further. If the spot is out of range, the Scout Nova or Solaris is the better choice.
Is there a subscription?
No. There is no monthly fee and no cloud requirement — everything records to the included 32GB microSD card and streams direct to your phone.
Will it get hedgehogs?
It's one of the things we tuned the motion sensor for. Place it 5-20ft from where they feed or nest, low down and level with them rather than looking down from above, and you'll get excellent results.
Can I run more than one?
Yes — add as many WildView and BirdView cameras as you like to the same app, name each one, and switch between them or use multi-view.
How do I stop it filling the card with footage of my cat?
Adjust the sensitivity in the app and reposition slightly so the busiest path is out of the detection zone. The AI identification also helps you skim past the clips you don't care about.
